Just to update thread on what's still available and other things I have realised I have got.
1 x Ikea homemade bin cage
Bin is a Samla - dimensions are 78 x 56cm so good enough for a less active Syrian or smaller hams. Doesn't look great because the bit I cut out for the mesh front went a bit wonky but it's functional and clean. Barely used - was Badger's holiday home when I was home from university, so probably used a total of a month or two lol. It's been sitting empty otherwise. Comes with lid as well, though that has not been meshed. I can confirm that the largest Karlie Wonderland wheel fits with lid on. All offers considered.
1 x Wilkos homemade bin cage
Bin is a Crystal storage box, 80 x 40cm but more importantly height is 25.5cm so it doesn't fit Karlie Wonderland wheels except maybe the smallest. Essentially this cage is only really suitable for temporarily housing young Syrians that can fit in the smallest Karlie, or hams with Silent Spinners, or mini hams with either types of wheel. Lid is ready-meshed in the lid and is better handiwork in terms of neatness than the Ikea bin (less rushed!). It also already has holes that will fit standard small classic water bottles, including two small ones for the holding wire to poke through. Barely used as Badger grew quickly and I had to upgrade him within two months or so of making this (was his first cage when I brought him home at 5½ weeks). All offers considered.
1 x Mini Duna
This was actually my sister's Winter White's cage. Still has the mezzanine platform level, is in good condition as far as I can remember. The bottom half is pink.
1 x wooden bridge
Basically like this one on Zooplus. Think it's the medium size but can measure actual dimensions upon request. Only the one left, price is £1 or can be chucked in free with a cage.
2 x polka dot ceramic bowls
They are these ones, ceramic and will have been given a good wash and wiped dry. One is red, one is green. These are no more than around 8 months old and in perfect condition - no chips or anything. Both for £2, or £1.50 each, or £1 if bought in conjunction with a cage. Can be mixed & matched with plain bowls (below) for same discount.
2 x plain tan ceramic bowls
More or less same as above in terms of size and shape, just they aren't patterned. Bit older than the polka dot ones but in perfect condition as once I swapped them out, they were only used occasionally for wet treats eg. baby food. Both for £2, or £1.50 each, or £1 if bought in conjunction with a cage. Can be mixed & matched with polka dot bowls (above) for same discount.
1 x stainless steel dog food bowl, used as sand bath/toilet & sand
Not in perfect condition as there are scratch marks from the sand/hamsters scratching around, but absolutely serviceable. I would say it is a medium-sized dog bowl - a medium large hamster (like Badger, a breeder ham) would easily be able to get in and still have extra room to scrabble. Also have the remnants of some Jollyes brand chinchilla "dust", enough for one fill of the dog bowl sand bath. I say "dust" because I don't think it's particularly dusty, only as much as some specific chinchilla sand I've bought from Zooplus before. Happy to throw both in free with a cage or 50p with any other stuff on the list.
Food
My main food mix was Harry Hamster with some extra kitten biscuits (only premium brands eg. Lily's Kitchen/Applaws etc), mealworms and some carrot chips. I'm happy to give this away, bagged, with any purchase.
I found the cat food I added to the hamster food mix -
Wainwright's Turkey and Rice Adult dry food. This was a 300g bag and I would estimate there is around 100g left, maybe a little less. I'd say it is the perfect amount left to mix in with a full bag of Harry Hamster if you wanted to add extra protein, or if you have cats it would be 2 or 3 meals depending on how much you feed your cat. Happy for this to go free but only if you collect/it goes with other stuff; it's not really worth my time or petrol to go drop this off tbh!
Also have
Arden Grange Mini Crunchy Bites in lamb flavour that I used to give as treats every so often. This is basically still a full bag and is resealable. Turns out best before date is August 2014, but still seems fine. It was opened maybe twice before being resealed and never opened again (both hams got old and stopped really having the energy to chew dog biscuits). Free.
ALSO have a completely unopened 325g bag of
Burns Kelties biscuits, which were intended as treats for the hams but never finished the other treats before getting round to opening these. NB: best before date says May 2014 but they were never opened so I dunno. I'd think they're fine - I'd feel safe giving them to my own pets, if I had dogs - but I take no responsibility! As this is the case, even though never opened, these can be given away free.
Am willing to drop cages off locally (I'm in NW7), but collection is preferred. Every else can be posted (you cover this) or can also be dropped off
if taken along with a cage. If multiple items (not including cages) are bought, will obviously combine postage.
