Have you tried emailing the National Hamster Council or Southern Hamster Club to see if they know of anyone local to you?

Please keep me posted too - I am in Devon and really dont want to get a hamster from P@H! Im also looking for long haired.. My parents live in Bristol so was sondering about up there too as I visit quite often Cant get one till July though as moving house end of June so am trying to be sensible... soooooo hard though when you see their gorgeous faces!

The pet shop i work in used to get hammies from a breeder, they were always healthy. Only now we can't seem to contact her anymore so we no longer get hamsters. I still cannot find any breeders around here.

I understand that - I just want to know where actually sells hamsters in the area... its so tricky as I am after a long haired syrian and finding places that sells hamsters and / or rescue places in Devon is proving hard! So any help in knowing any pet shops... whether the individual thinks they are good or bad... would be helpful
