I'm in Farnham (an hour away), and am in mid-process of setting up a professional pet sitting company. Not terribly close (M3 to Winchester, then A31), but more than happy to sit in my own home. Can also provide a pet taxi service for collect and drop-off (be £36 mates-rates) if required. I haven't had syrians since I was about 14, but I do have my own russian hybrid (and obviously access to hamster central for insta-knowledge base, combined with my mini library. I also have a spare ZZ2 on hand in case of squabbles (sure my hog won't mind releasing her vacation pad to the cause
).
No cats, but one very blind and dippy dog, a hedgehog, and my hammie, so noone will get eaten
I know how you feel about leaving pets alone, and there seem to be so few pet sitters that will take on small furries and exotics (hence my start-up
).
