Or worse... Our rabbit hutches (syrian cages). We could scarcely fit them in the car before we built them lol

Hahaha! That I would like to see Kyrilliondaemon. I could imagine you walking in with a hutch saying you were going to convert it!

The staff when we bought them asked what we wanted them for. She guessed guinea pigs so was er... Just a tad surprised lol
We'd need to hire a van to take a hutch though - they were difficult to fit in the car before we built them and I'm not sure a heap of wood and perspex would impress anyone if they were taken dismantled lol

Ha I thought Pepsi's Hamster heaven was awkward to get around!! The Alexander which we will be getting for christmas for our Pepsi is going to be a push to get into our little car, rabbit hutches would not fit at all!!

We er... struggled, to get the hutches in the car lol. 5 foot long planks of wood don't fit in cars too well unfortunately. We were stubborn so managed it in the end, were just in less than perfect seating positions for the drive back. If they were any bigger we'd probably have failed to get them in the car to be honest.
80cm by 50cm cages sit in the boot, 100cm by 50cm cages get squished onto the back seat. Oh or we put the back seats down and can transport two Alexanders at once then

I swear when we eventually move I'm just going to hire a van for a day, still dismantle the hutches and stuff but hire a van. It'd save us so many trips between the two places.

Haha. I'm considering a van when moving in 10days eek. I have to dismantle the Detolf ¬.¬ I remember the fun of fitting that in the car when i was flat packed!

Luckily I think we'll be fine for moving the Robo's in their cages. Hammy, will transport his cage whole but he'll be in a carrier (think his would fit in the boot, and the robo's would be seatbelted in xD). I think i made the right decision waiting to change the robo's to the alexanders...

For us as well when we adopted Bonkers, they had to see every member of the family, although we managed to pursuade them that they wouldnt be able to see my dad as he works away from home pretty much all of the time.
