Nice to see someone douing their research before diving in!!

If you can go to a breeder (if you cantact the NHC they are very helpful and quick to respond). I have a little hybrid (but winter white looking) dwarfie called Boris he is lovely. I find him a lot less demanding than my syrian, he is happy to bob about doing his own thing, not very cuddly, but likes to come out for a crawl over the bed and some mealworms (he is anyones for a mealworm!) The only thing I will say is that he is quite nippy, he is tame, but when he has had enough he will nip and nibble, my syrian has never bitten me. But to be honest I think it depend on the individul hamster, I know that fluffymunchkins hybrid is a complete snuggle monster!
