Default Adopted 2 hamsters. Learning.

I adopted 2 hamsters from NextDoor when a neighbor couldn't keep them anymore. I'm working on getting them set up in the proper enclosures, but I'm not there yet. I'm hoping people here can answer my questions and be understanding while I learn and work on their new homes. Their names are Kimmie and Queso.

They are Syrian hamsters. I'm trying to attach pics. These are the little cages they came in and Kimmie is already in something larger. Queso is the darker one.

Oh my goodness those are only big enough as travel boxes.I hope you can soon get them set up with better cages. They look like nice hamsters though.

The manufacturers of these cages are totally out of touch with a sense of responsibility, care and concern for the poor animals that end up in them. Very sad to see hamsters in that sort of set-up.
