Hello hamster lovers!

My name is Kamila and two weeks ago I became proud owner of Salvador (Robo Hamster). It is my first hamster and even though I still don't know much about him I am very much in love with this shy, cute creature.

Just before Christmas, I got the idea that I will get hamster. I imagined small cage with colourful tubes and tiny wheel standing on my table from where, I will observe my new hamster with growing love. Month later, after thorough research I own huge cage, large amount of hideouts, thick bedding where he can burry, balanced food, proportionate in size wheel etc. I would never imagine that such small animal will have such huge needs!!! Yet here I am, trying to get as much knowledge about my tiny Salvador and everything what can keep him well and happy.

I hope that through reading your posts I will be able to learn more about hamsters, their wellbeing and habits and possibly find many answers to any questions I have.

I also want to say massive "thank you" for allowing me to join this community!

Sounds like Salvador got very lucky to come home to such a wonderful owner that took the time to learn before diving straight in.
