Te, he Ria, he really is a character, I’m sure he’s most grateful of his tidy up, just flexing his muscles, little cutie.

Not sure about that. He likes a mess but i've always said that, the smaller the hamster, the bigger the mess.

Do you think him going for some outside time is Scottie's version of an apology? :O

Yeah, it almost came across as if he was trying to please me.

And he hasn't been out since!!

He's around in the evening and hamsters about, runs on his wheel and comes forward sniffing when i hold his taxi in But he won't go in it, lol.

There's definitely a message there somewhere.

I guess he's just like "I said sorry! What else do you want?" He seems like a handful, are Robo's usually that boisterous?

Probably depends on their personality. I think the amount of time people spend with their hamsters and the environment they live in may also have an influence on their behaviour.

Scottie is in a huff with me since i cleaned his cage. He won't come out and he won't come to see me in the morning to get a mealworm. I thought he was alright about it at first but he wasn't.

Oddly, his behaviour has changed. He used to hover around in the evening until i had gone to bed and then go on his wheel but now he goes on his wheel whenever he feels like it. Soon as i open his door to see if he wants out, he hops off the wheel and goes behind it but goes back on soon as i have closed his door.

I am guilty of upsetting his routine by cleaning his cage and i made him wait in a playpen. Not acceptable i guess
and he's letting me know.

Will be interesting to see Cupcake's response once you have to do a bit of spotcleaning.
Clarissa actually hang off my sleeve trying to stop me!

Those little brown ones with the dorsal stripe, whether winter whites or hybrids (Clarissa was a hybrid, Gertie is a pedigree) are very spirited and opinionated dwarfs, in my experience anyway.

I sneakily cleaned Scottie's wheel thinking he was asleep in a burrow but this little man was sitting there looking for his wheel when i came back with it.

Soon as it was where it should be, he sniff inspected it and went back to bed.

Lol, amazing how he knew what was going on despite being in his burrow.

He just looks so cute all the time, but clearly knows his mind and his likes/dislikes.
