Exclamation New member- Help!

Hi everyone, i'm new to this and I wanted to join to ask for help. I have a long-haired syrian hamster called stevie, her enclosure is a 4ft by 2ft aquarium, she has 6 inches of bedding, plenty of chews, a couple hides and is still on the food that the pet shop used with the occasional treat as she's not too keen on changing diets. I feel like i'm doing everything right yet she spends a lot of her time when she's not burrowing, jumping up and down on the side of the glass. I have been told this is stereotypical behavior but i'm not sure why she would be doing this? Does anyone have any insights into why she way be displaying this!
-Thanks, Alice!

Hi and welcome to HC!

Have you done routine checks like is her wheel and water bottle working ok?

I'm just wondering if she's trying to tell you something.
