First time hamster owner
Hello. May 21st will be a month that I have my hamster. He is a Chinese dwarf hamster. The pet store owner told me it was a male and then Someone convinced it was a female hence the name Lola. Turns out it looks like he actually might a male after all but I’ve been calling him/her Lola since day one so the I kept the name male or female. Thanks for accepting me as I have questions I’ll be posting.

Re: First time hamster owner
You could post a photo of Lola so people can have a look to see if its a girl or a boy.

Re: First time hamster owner
Hello and welcome. Agree - if you post a photo we can tell you if Lola is male or female. Male chinese hamsters usually have a fairly large protuberance at the back which houses their testicles. Females are more rounded at the back without the extra elongated bit sticking out.
