Rory's got the devil in him tonight. He climbs on the shoe rack then leaps like a frog trying to jump over the barrier.

Maybe have to cut back on the spinach.

After many evenings of trying to jump over the barrier, Rory tried to dig up the carpet to get under the barrier.

When that didn't work, he tried ME. He started to follow me around. Soon as i stepped over the barrier he was there meerkating and hopping to get my attention so i lifted him over and put him down at the top of the stairs.
Rory went down the stairs, one by one and it seems that was what he wanted. I pick him up at the second last step and put him back to the top of the stairs. Everytime he goes downstairs he gets faster and i have to rush downstairs to get there before he does. Three downstairs runs is about right for him and he's happy now.

Lol! And those ears! He has great ears. Our cream (Newt) used to try and dig under the playpen. Still have 3 big holes in the carpet in that room.

Yes, those creams look so cute and innocent but they're little devils.

I think Rory is trying to guilt trip me into quitting work!

My OH sent me this photo of him while i was away at work overnight.
He only lets Betsy freeroam who is like a boomerang and always runs back to his feet.
The boys will come to me when called but not him.
Betsy often gives me a look when i open her door then goes back into her cage.

Hamsters definitely have their favourite humans.
