Ready to learn!
Hi everyone.
I currently own mice, and I absolutely adore them. Lately I've been thinking about getting a new pet, and I am interested in getting a hamster.
I have never had a hamster before, so I'm starting my research and am eager to learn I look forward to seeing pictures of your hamsters and hope that you guys can help me with any questions that I may have
Cheers!

Re: Ready to learn!
Hi and welcome to HC! We're a pretty friendly bunch and there are some who are very knowledgeable so feel free to ask and they'll try to help!
I've never had mice (don't like their tails!)
Take a look at the "Let's see your cages" thread for some ideas on housing, and in the housing sectiln (I think!) should be some info on things like wheels etc Have you ever had a hamster before? Do you know which sort of hamster you plan on getting? Syrian hamsters re the bigger ones. I don't know much about the dwarf hamsters, chinese hamsters or robos but they are smaller lol

Re: Ready to learn!
Hello and welcome to HC
I'd suggest looking in the 'Let's See Your Cages' threads and also the 'Cage Reviews' section for help on choosing a cage
We are happy to answer any questions you have

Re: Ready to learn!
Thanks guys! I'll be sure to check those sections out. I'm not 100% sure what type of hamster I want yet (as I've never had one before) but am quite interested in winter whites right now
