First time Hammy owner to be - Devon
Hi all!
Just wanted to say HI!
I've been lurking here for a few weeks in the process of deciding to get a Hamster  So I'm very happy to finally be able to say hi to you all. There is so much info here and I'm very grateful for all the friendly and informative posts that are here!
So, I'm 30 and soon to be an owner (depending on waiting lists from reputable hamster breeders) of my very own hamster. I never had hamsters as a kid but wanted one.
Got my Really Useful Box today and starting to get my bits ready to DIY my bin cage for my future hamster
So excited and happy to be here !

Hello and welcome to the forum. Hamster central is a really good website to look up anything hamster care related and if you have any question people are always happy to help you. Can't wait to see your hamster, hope you don't have a too long of a wait! What species of hamster are you looking to get?

Well we are on the waiting list with Vectis  So who knows! Chineseys and Syrians are both so cute, I know we will it - which ever one we have, it'll be perfect and will have a loving caring home.
Hopefully tomorrow the cable ties will come, and I'm going to pop to Wickes for the wire mesh and I can then get DIYing the bin, and a mini travel bin
