He's adorable! I'm so glad bath time went well for you! It's horrible trying to catch an escaped ham; I remember buying a cheap hamster ball and the lid coming loose.. I was terrified I wasn't going to get her out. I've actually seen my hamster tonight, which is nice. I was watching him when my stumoch gurgled pretty loudly; he's been in the same position for about five minutes. I know he's scared but I don't want to move and startle him as he's currently scaling the bars :/

could you try moving slowly? He might be a bit safer then :/ Alfie loves climbing the bars, there are loads of little ramps in his cage but he ignores them and climbs up on the bars instead pushing the ramps up so he can get higher :L What's your boy's name?

He fell off :/ Luckily the cage isn't too tall but he didn't half scare me! My boy's the same it seems - he hasn't even so much as sniffed at his wheel yet he loves to become spiderham and frighten me to death. He doesn't have a name, I haven't found the right one just yet

Me too, he went straight back to his nest under his platform. I can't see his face, only his bum. I've turned the lights off now, hopefully I'll hear him rusting in the night :/ They certainly are funny little things; all the best with your dissertation
