Hello! :)
Hello! My name is Beth and I'm 20 years old. I have owned hamsters since being young. My first two hamsters were Russian Dwarf hamsters and I found them hard to tame and handle. However, I was around eleven years old when I got them and was a very inexperienced hamster owner! Since then I have only owned Syrian hamsters. I have had a break from owning hamsters for around a year; when my last hamster died I was heartbroken! I'm at a point now where I feel ready to invest in another hamster (both financially and emotionally) and will, fingers crossed, be going to choose a new little hammy on Friday
As you can probably guess from my username, I'm also an avid Disney fan. My favourites being: Beauty and the Beast, The Lion King and Bambi. I also love baking and reading
It's very nice to meet you and I look forward to becoming a new member of the Hamster Community

Hello and welcome to the forum. I had 2 Russian Dwarf hamster first too they were not tame also and like you have owned Syrians since. Also good luck on getting your new hammy on Friday. This forum is an excellent place to gain all your knowledge on hamster care, with kind friendly people who can offer you advice and help on anything hamster related. Can't wait to meet you new arrival!
