Default -=-Hello-=-

Hello All! I remember joining this website nearly 3 years ago, but unfortunately cannot find my username or password! So I thought I might as well start fresh! This account is a conjoined account for my sister and I because we co-own all our animals! So now to tell you about our animal history- We have a pretty good list. We have owned a total of 20 dogs- A pitbull, German shepherd, golden lab, a variety of mutts, and 12 boxers! By far our favorite dogs have been the boxers (as you might have guessed) Butch- our male boxer- was the first one and died 2 years ago at 12 yeas old. Sadie- our female boxer- is currently 8 and is perfectly content sleeping all day long :P. The 10 others were actually there litter which we took care of for roughly 6 months, which is why I consider them part of our pet count. They all went to various people and some relatives. Throughout the years of owning dogs, we have also had 2 cats. Our first cat-Jazz- was a male stray we found as a 2 week old kitten covered in ants, and we couldn't find a mother so we took him in. He was probably the nicest cat we owned and lived with us several years as an outdoor- indoor cat. Sadly one day, he came back with a lot of scratches and the following day he never returned home. A couple months later we were surprised with another cat-Diego- who my parents adopted from a shelter. He was 2 years old when we adopted him and we also had him for several years, until we went out of town and our house sitter claimed he never came home one day. After our series of lost cats, we decided to move on to birds. We only ended up having one parakeet because we realized how hectic maintaining lose little stinkers are. We called him blue and I can't remember exactly how long we had him, but I know we did the best we could to give him a good quality of life. Finally, we had a dormant period of no new animals, but decided to try raising a hamster! His name was Boo, he was a winter white, roughly 2-3 months when we got him and was such a fun little furball to take care of. Since it was our first time we didn't really realize how small his cage was (critter trail) until 2 months in and realized he needed more space so we bought him another cage as an extension. He lived for 2 years and sadly pasted away the day after our boxer-butch- did. It was a tragic series of events. But now, fast Forward 2 years, we are embarking on the all too familiar trail of raising another winter white! We will be getting him tomorrow and decided to call him Zeus. And that's why I decided to get back into the hamster community, and I expect to be here for the next couple of years as we take you along on our journey of raising Zeus! I guess the last thing to say is Hello! And I'm excited to share with y'all our experience with the new member!

Hello! Wow that's quite a series of animals you had there! Funny but I knew a cat called Diego too, I never heard of another with that name. Welcome to Zeus... Hope you have fun looking after him!
