Default Hey Fellow Hammy Lovers

Hello There, My name is Jay and i make youtube videos about my pets and how to/care videos for pets, I have 2 Hamsters 3 Guinea Pigs and 1 Cat, I did have more hamsters but sadly they past away with old age. My two hamsters names are Peaches & Berty, They are two golden coloured Syrians or should I say Golden Hamsters, Peaches is coming up on 1 year and 6 months old, Berty on the other hand I am not sure as I rescued him from a person who really mistreated him, he came to me and his cage was soaked and very dirty, I think he is just over a year but he is very frail and he looks really old compared to peaches which makes me this he is a lot older. I will attach a video of bertys story for you to watch if you want to. but both hamsters are very healthy. I am seeking out new cages for them as i did do the amiture thing and buy Rotastak cages when I got peaches and i bought multiple of these to give her loads of space and well i did my research into cages and i came to realise that rotastak was bad... i am in the middle of making my pet room and this is where the new cages will go so I will buy new ones very soon.

Hi welcome to the forum! I'll be sure to check your video out. I think a lot of us have fallen into the rotastak "trap" I remember when they were brand new out & everyone was so impressed by the way you could "mimic their natural burrows". Oh well. Live and learn! Look forward to seeing their setups - that's the fun bit

God bless Ikea! Are you going bin cage, detolf or a bookcase hack? I'm always very impressed by the DIYs I see on here
