wanted 2 introduce myself & my 5 dwarf hammies

I just had to get one of every species..including 2 russian Campbell dwarf sisters. I have Stillé, my 7 mo old Chinese hamster cause she nests still all...the time. Then I have Zara who is over a year old Albino hamster...white. Next I have Xena supposed 2 B Zara's sister but I think Pet Smart just put them together cause the vet said that the Albino looks more like a year old which would make her 6 months older than Xena...Xena is about 8 mo old & is black. Then I have Chloe Rose Petal who is 15 months winter white hybrid & lastly Coconut Latte who is my adorable all white robo..I've had her for 3 mo now so that would make her about 5 mo old. She sits in my hand & eats treats..not afraid of me at all. I found out that I had Melanoma cancer so since I love dwarf hamsters so much I'd get one of every species.

That's quite a hamster family you have!

If your russian hams come from pet shops then they will all be hybrids rather than WW or Campbells.

Look forward to hearing more about them all.

They are all gorgeous

I would class all the russians as hybrids, as I said before it's highly unlikely they would be anything else even though they may favour one or other species in appearance.
You have to upload photos to a hosting site like photobucket or flickr then post a link here if you want bigger photos, if someone clicks on the thumbnails they can see a larger image too.

Ok thanks..would you consider the brown one a winter white hybrid..& the white albino & the black one..Xena as campbells hybrids? Is there a difference between Chloe & the 2 russian campbells ..as Pet Smart calls them anyways...just really want 2 know if Chloe is called a winter white hybids or are they all just considered just hybrids...forgot 2 enclose a pic of Zara eating an omelet...

They are generally just called russian hybrids as all hybrids are a mix of WW & Campbells so they don't get classified as one or the other.
I wouldn't take much notice of what the pet store calls them tbh, they come up with all sorts of names, probably in the hope they'll sell better or even possibly they don't really know for sure!

As you can see above the writing box there is a yellow picture with a mountain and a round circle at the top right corner, before you click on it you need to turn your photos into url, here is a site I use...TinyPic - Free Image Hosting, Photo Sharing & Video Hosting you choose your photo and then upload and then there will be a list of things to use...The one you need is the second one down which is IMG Code for Forums & Message Boards ! Once you have that you copy it and then we go back to the little image of the mountain and yellow background, Simply press on it and then paste the URL Link. Then you are done.

Ok thanks...you've been very helpful..next time maybe I'll try to buy directly from a breeder but looked into it a little & couldn't locate one near Buffalo, NY. If u know of anybody appreciate it if I could locate breeders. My pets r still fairly young tho so I won't be getting any new ones. I should eventually down size to 2 or 3 at a time...lol...I'll definitely enjoy my current hamster family!
