Thanks. Im also happy to see Im not the only one who thinks this way about Hammies... . Like caring for them the way you do, taking them to a vet isn't weird here... You have no idea how many people told me to just 'let him go and buy a new one'... . Or when the option 'put him to rest' came up, others said 'A good pair of books would be cheaper' ... I cant... I just cant. How can people be so mean to such cute little furballs?

'Welkom in Hamster Central' indeed is correct. Pointing at the web.
You could also say "Welkom bij Hamster Central" - In which it is more like joining others. Like; Welcome IN our group.

"Dagh!" Almost; its just 'Dag'. We like it simple. I hope you liked it here in my cold gloomy frogcountry?

Concidering Moof:

In the past night Moof pulled out all the hairs from his paw with his teeth as far as he could reach...

So it does do something to it... and it may actually be a sign he is feeling tingles and stuff in there, and it is doing something right... but it may also mean he is just feeling worse...

(Though he keeps eating/drinking and running like no other in between hair-pluck-rages, though he also makes little noises I cant really point out what sound it is...)

I just pray it goes well. I am keeping a close eye on him... if he keeps doing it Ill call the vet thursday about it. I want to give it a chance.

You don't need to apologise for your grammar especially on the internet and even more so if its not your first language - I regularly ask for English spelling help from my Romanian boss for example (and I am English)!

I only know one word of Dutch - and that's not very useful as its Dutch for comic book store, however I do find it hilarious. I ought to know more though as a large portion of my family are actually Dutch and I have a Dutch speaking Belgian friend.

Oh am so sorry he didn't make it

He was very cute and he certainly had a long life and by the sounds of it a very happy one with you. You certainly did everything you could to try and help him.

Be happy that he was yours and that he ended with someone who loved him so much, I know its hard, I am always so sad when they go.

It is amazing how these little animals touch our lives so deeply, and how loved these little creatures are
