Hi, from me and the hammies.
Hi, I'm new to the forum, I have one elderly female Syrian called Buffy-the-Cat-Slayer but she lets us call her Buffy. She is 3 1/2 and is not too well at the moment, it just looks like her age is catching up with her. She has never been the sort of hamster to like being held (uderstatement of the year) but she likes to come out in her ball every day and she loves rearranging her cage on a daily basis. I went into Pets at Home a few weeks ago and went past the adoption bit where a delightful child was banging as hard as she could on the tanks, the little hammie in the cage was terrified, to cut a long story short Angel came home with me. She is also a Syrian and is adorable, she is a real people hamster and would spend all her time out of the cage if I let her. I'm looking forward to geting lots of advice from you hamster experts and learning how to be a better hamster mum.

Wow, Buffy is very old. That's a testament to your care, kudos!

Hi and welcome to the forum! Both your hammies are adorable, and 3 1/2 is a great old age for a ham!

Welcome to the forum and well done you for rescuing Angel. She is a real cutie pie. Buffy is adorable too and a grand old lady who has obviously led a long and much loved life with you. Looking forward to hearing more about them

Hello and welcome!
I love the name Buffy-the-cat-slayer, I have a sable male called Slayer, I'm sure someone here has a hamster called Cat too!
Hope you enjoy it here.
Take care
