Hazel's Thread
I got my newest baby the day after Easter. Hazelnut Creamer, better known as Hazel.
My elderly Syrian, Twix, passed away on Easter of 2015. I was devastated, as she was a very expressive hammy. However, I left the unclean cage under a table to deal with it later. I went to the grocery store the next day, and when I came home, my family was acting strange. (I was visiting family). My mother told me that the cage was starting to make the room smell and that I should clean it.
Well, I walked in and there was the most beautiful baby climbing the travel cage's bars. She's a gorgeous caramel and brownish female with a white band. I was overjoyed to bring Hazel to her real cage at home, as I live two hours away from my home.
Hazel loves to spend time with the rabbits, Basil and Mocha, when she's in the excersize ball. She loves celery and carrots, just for a little fun fact. Here's some photos

(No, she did not bite the cord at all. She was trying, but I grabbed her before she could.)
(Sorry the photos are bad, my camera is not the greatest)

LOL! I was wondering if that was the last shot you took before the lights went out.

What a lovely surprise! She's gorgeous, her colouring is really dark and rich looking, I love it
Of course she's going to try and have a nibble, that cord could have been delicious and you never know until you try
