hi all hammie lovers
Hi everyone! I've got 2 robo hamsters.. I still can't differentiate them so no names for now. They've got a sand bath area (orange dish) and food tray (red dish). Hope it's good enough. Will find more diy toys for them to play besides the toilet rolls!

Re: hi all hammie lovers
Hi Flowery, welcome to the forum! You'll find lots of great advice from people who have seen it all...and then some
I've only ever had a single robo, but from what I've learned here, if I'd got 2 I'd have needed 2 of everything for them to ensure there weren't any squabbles. That bin they're in looks quite small too so I'd definitely upgrade. Even if you only had one I'd get a bigger home. They're like furry little hummingbirds and they do a lot of running around in the night. Plus with 2 of everything you're going to need room to put it. Finally, keep this bin, or get another because if they do fall out you're going to need a place to put the other one because you don't want them to injure each other.
Look forward to seeing more of these cuties!

Re: hi all hammie lovers
Hi flowery, welcome to you & your robos!
I think BrainGirl has pretty much said it all, you will need a much bigger cage (& one spare in case they fall out) & two of everything, preferably houses with more than one entrance too, to keep your busy little guys happy.
If you're not sure abut what you might need just ask & someone will help.
I'm looking forward to seeing more of them too!

Re: hi all hammie lovers
Hi there, I've always been aware, that having 2 dwarfs means getting 2 of everything!
Always be prepared, have a spare cage should they fight, once they fight they need to be separated. I know it's a lot to take in but, you'll get there!
Your robos are gorgeous!

Hi Flowery - just seen your thread for the first time. Great to see that the girls are still happily together, there are so many more successful stories with robos not falling out, so long may they continue to want to share their space.
Well done on making a start on the improvements. Have a look on Gumtree and Preloved for larger second hand cages. When you do next upgrade, stay clear of any cages with platforms/shelves if both girls are still together as those can cause territorial arguments. Of course, you can always remove the shelves to make a cage all one space. The more floor space the better, especially for robos as has been said already.
Robos love hidey holes, tunnels and anything else that they can climb over or under, including cardboard tunes, bendy bridges. If you look through the thread on cages, you will get an idea on what other equipment you can get to go with the bigger cage.
Glad they are doing well, did you come up with some names?
