Re: Hello frnds i'm a beginner
You took a lovely photo1 Your little girl is really gorgeous
Just wondering if that's how her cage normally is though or is it just in this photo? She really needs a nice deep layer of substrate to dig in nest in.
Your food mix sounds ok, as RubyRose said the raisins are too high in sugar & they do tend to like those but they are quite easy to see & remove normally so I'd just take those out & leave the rest as it is.
ETA Does it say on your food packet how much protein, fibre, fat etc. is in the mix? If it does that will help with knowing if the balance is right for your ham, protein should preferably be about 18 - 19%

Re: Hello frnds i'm a beginner
I would use the wood flakes if that's all that you can find as the bedding you have made isn't enough for the cage, I would also be a little worried that because your cage is made from cardboard that the hamster will escape, could you not make a cage from a plastic box, the cage is a alright size for a dwarf hamster, could you make a sand pit area in the cage as the hamster will use this to wee in and the rest of your cage will stay clean,

In my food pack they have not mentioned any percentage of protein. I saw every seeds details in google and they are good at protines.
