Hi everyone, I hadn't had a syrian for years and then saw this gorgeous little fella in my local pet shop! As you'll understand I had to have him!!! He has no name as yet and I've no idea what colour he's classed as...any help with either appreciated!

Hello and welcome. What a lovely hammy you have. He looks like one of the greys and is banded. Think I might go for a Silver grey banded.

Your new hamster is beautiful, and if I had to guess I would say possibly he is a silver sable banded shorthaired hamster
