I've managed to get some pics on my camphone, sorry theyre bad quality. They really don't show his true colour unfortunately, he's more smokey grey in real life than brown as he turns out in these pics!





and me managing to hold him tonight. I did the whole make a tunnel with hands thing and he loved it, if I didnt have my hand there he'd wait until I put my hand ready for him. Also he has the CUTEST lil hammy tail-stump ever - it sticks out from under his bum when he sits on his wheel

he is so cute and sweet you must love him so much with such a gorgeous face.
im very pleased for you that you were able to hold him and it shows that he wants to come to see you if he waits for your hand.i love hamsters little tails too all small amd furry.

Thanks stripeybea he allows me to put my hand in his tank and he'll sniff around and maybe step on it but then scarper off somewhere else. So at least he doesn't try to attack it!!

I only managed to get him on my hand by using his hamster ball and getting him out that way.

I'm worried about him not drinking though, I've discovered a way of attaching his drinking bottle inside the tank so its at a good level for him, but I can't tell if he's drank much or not...how much do dwarf hamsters drink?

He got a stickle treat AND a sandbath in his tank tonight Pika's already had a good roll around in his sand lol
