Default Hi!

Hi everyone!

I don't have any hamsters anymore but the empty cages are making me sad and I'd love to have a syrian once again! I used to have a gorgeous lh female syrian called Button and three male campbell dwarves (from PJ at Wellington Hams - its been a while, i think that was the lady's name) Buster (umbrous argente), Fudge (beige) and Gorgeous (Opal). It broke my heart when Button died as I have never felt such a bond with a small fluffy. Myself and my fiance currently have 2 guinea pigs and 2 house bunnies (from one of the lovely ladies on Rabbits United).

I'd like to rescue a syrian when there is one that needs me so I'd love to get my knowledge back up to speed again. In the meantime here are some pics of my babies, now at the rainbow bridge.

Button when she was a baby

My pretty boy Gorgeous posing

My teeniest boy Fudge (excuse the very untidy room, that was back in 2006 before I moved out of home - you can see the gabber rex lid too)

Your hamsters were all lovely (especially Button!) and I'm sure they are watching down on you from the Rainbow Bridge.

I'm sure the right little hamster will find you - it's lovely that you want to rescue

can't wait to hear about your new little one once he/she arrives and I look forward to seeing you about the forum!

Aww what gorgeous guys - and what a lovely tribute to them that you want to open up your home and heart to a rescue ham. I do hope that you find a wonderful new ham soon, and that, when you do, you will let us know all about him or her!
Until then, welcome and make yourself at home!

Hi there, what beautiful hamsters you had, really lovely.

It's great that you want to rescue, I'm sure you'll find a little one that needs loved soon. Recuing is so rewarding, I rescued mine last week, and had no idea that I was going to - it was obviously meant to be!

Welcome Bubby. It is lovely to see the pictures of your beautiful little ones. It is nice to share memories I am not sure PJ has hamsters these days but Wellington Hamsters still exists with Mel. I am sure you will find a little rescue hamster. There might be one comes up on our rescue section that touches your heart so keep a look out there. We are always happy to share your pictures of hammies old and new
