Welcome to Hamster Central - most members are European or from USA so it's nice to have someone new - your English is very good.

are hamsters popular pets in China
are they easily obtainable?
do stores sell a lot of different accessories for them?

Welcome to HC, jingdede - it's good to have you here

I think I recall, from a BBC article this year, that the popularity of pet hamsters was soaring in the east - I did post it at the time.

I don't know if they bring luck, but they certainly are a good influence in my house

I've been on a few japanese sites to do with robos, they have so many pictures of people holding them and they are interesting. though I can't read japanese yet. (I know its not china, but the robos are sweet)

do you have any pictures of your hamsters?

I might visit china at some point, I have relatives in japan and I'm sure it won't be hard to get over there for a few days then go back to japan. or I could take a trip over from the phillippines when my dad moves there in a few years time.

It'll be nice to see hamsters from all over the world.

Hope you like it on the forum.
