Do any of u own russian dwarfs?

Hey guys do any of u own any russian dwarf hamsters im gettin 2 called sayuri and sakura. two girls i just wondered if any of u owned a zoozone 2 would that be best for them 2 girls or not? plus if u any facts or info on them could u please say as i am now doin alot of research tahnx
ps. i got a good level in my sats so i begged my dad if i could get some lol and he said yess!

Hi and Welcome to HC! I used to look after three dwarfies. They were hybrids. They didn't get on so all ended up living apart in various cages. Be aware that if you do have them they are prone to diabetes so no sugar content in their food. Take a look at the various forums and you should find all you need to know. They are amazing little hamsters.

Yeah, a zoozone 2 would be perfect. Just make sure you have a spare cage incase they fight and you're good to go

someone like naruto by any chance? i had to russians in the past mine were male and brothers they were fine together but like lynternette said the are prone to diabetes and other health problems due to being hybrids

We've got four. They were a foursome for about a year, then a pair of pairs, then this morning we had an incident and now we have two singles and a pair.

The ZZ2 is great, but spare cages are essential. Those we separated this morning weren't doing particuarly badly but still drew blood and needed separation.

Avoid treats with sugar and you should be fine. And remember two wheels, scatter feed e.t.c with pairs.

bad luck i found out dat my tallboy is not big enough for the zz2 so im probably gonna get du duna fun hamster home by ferplast do u think thats a good idea i ahve held and seem it and it quite big and has 3 levels so dont judge by the photo plus its comes with loads of things, water bottle, hut, feeding bowl ect...
wat do u guys think?......

I have three of them and its way too small for more than a single dwarf. If you get the duna fun large and don't use the shelves or tubes you'll be fine for a pair though.
