ya know the pet shops have really small compartments i feel so sorry as they dont get the space to run around and theres around 7 in each at ours...!!!!! :P
hey guys do u think its alright to get 2 hamsters then get 4 cages and connect them with tubes and if they fight then u can just connect 2 cages and block of the other were the other hamster would be so they both get 2 cages each.

I'm afraid pairs don't do well with compartment/modular style cages. They can get territorial over the different areas and are then more likely to fight over them causing them to need to become separated. Just a large cage with no extras is best.
1 dwarf would be alright with cages connected though.
Yeah it's perfectly fine.....if you can get hold of one. Being the same size as the zoozone 1, you may aswell save yourself hassle and get one of them for £30.

DAMN! i enquired about that one a while ago but ended up getting a hamster heaven... was thinking of getting it as a reserve cage but looks like you beat me to it! it's in clapham isn't it?
You sound as if you are going to be a very responsible hammie owner. You'll love a dwarfie. They are way more intelligent than you'd give them credit for. Just take a lot of patience and let them go at their own pace and you'll have the most loving, funny and intelligent little companion.
