Re: Do any of u own russian dwarfs?
Its fine to have two of either sex as long as they're the same sex. Sadly both sexes can fall out though.
Our group had to be split just after their first birthday and the pair weren't doing badly when they got split either. Just happens sometimes.

Re: Do any of u own russian dwarfs?
Cool
Our hybrids are all female although we were told they were male so check the sex yourself before purchase if it matters lol
For a cage that cheap your best bet might be a bin cage. The cheapest thats ok for a dwarf is the mini duna at about £25 or £18 online.

Re: Do any of u own russian dwarfs?
Er... Don't go below the size of a mini duna. Anything smaller is regarded as too small for any hamster unfortunately.

Re: Do any of u own russian dwarfs?
That cage is way to small even for a single dwarf hamster have you tried looking on preloved or ebay to see if anyone selling a mini duna second hand i have 2 under my bed i don't use so where abouts are you in the uk?

Re: Do any of u own russian dwarfs?
Yeah that cage is tiny. It'd be like keeping you locked in a small bathroom 24/7. Please get a mini duna or bigger as the spare?
Or just get a single dwarf - then you don't need the second cage
