Just out of interest, how long did your guinea pig live to? Guinea pigs average lifespan is 5-7 years. My first guinea pig made it to almost 7. His friend died at the young age of 3 and a half due to an illness that was picked up too late.
I was asking this beacuse the picture is of Peanut on fluffy bedding, which is deadly if eaten. If he died fairly young or if you noticed he wasn't eating or leaving waste around the cage, then that could have been the cause. Fluffy bedding is completely unnecassary for guinea pigs, as they need unlimited grass hay which they love to bury in.

Peanut was so cute though, RIP.

Fluffy bedding is deadly, see the link I posted below for a thread about it.

I just read through this thread and wow... that's a lot of pets! :O
Very happy to hear that you're trying your best to improve their living conditions! ♥

I have 22 pets and the only reason I can give them the attention they need is because I'm home all the time (only go to school for PE) and take classes online at my own pace. :)
