It's a shame you don't live near me and could wait about two months for your hammy - I'd be absolutely over the moon for someone like you to take one of my babies

Well another surprise turned up today, my 2nd Gabber Rex cage, i intend to use the red one as the home and the 2nd hand blue base one as a play house with all the extra toys


This will be the home as this is the brand one:

Three cages?????? Hmm....I have a feeling there'll be more than one hammy in your house before long :P

I was like you...... six hammies and a hopefully imminent litter later.....here I am now

says Montagna on the side all mine say Gabber I remember reading somewhere about a take over now I think about it - was it on here?

Yes there was something on here about another name, the box dosent have Gabber on it either so maybe this is the new company name as the red base isnt on the Gabber website either

oh well must just be name change then, im impressed with the size of the cage, wish id bought one of these for my old hamsters they would have loved it

Any idea what the two circle holes are in the roof?

We've got a red Gabber one as well - and all the same pet shops around here that used to stock the Gabber Rex now stock the Montagna Rex so I'm sure it's just a company name change.

They are for water bottles:

I'm not sure if you can get this kind of water bottle over here - we just use ordinary ones in the little hole in the side of the clear lid.
