Hello
Hi, I'm new here so I suppose the right thing to do is introduce myself.
I just got my first hamster two days ago, it's a syrian gold hamster and she is 9 weeks old.
She was living with males and females in the shop, and some of the other females were pregnant, so I guess I shouldn't be too surprised if I have more hamsters one morning.
I'm trying to catch up on how to take care of her in the best way possible. I've always had animals, but this is a new challenge with the special circadian rythms and all.

Welcome to the forum. Glad to hear you are preparing for the possiblity of babies but fingers crossed she isn't pregnant.
