not alot of people here are fans of tubes as they can be easily to escape from and syrians can struggle with them .

Most cages in pet shops are not actully suitabkle for hamsters

im guessing it's a habitrail cage, not a hobo cage. but i could be wrong..welcome to the forum, looking forward to pics of your new x-mas present, lol

so i got my new hammie but now i have a problem i think she is pregnant ,shes showing all the signs i have had her for 20 days today are hamster pregnant for that long she only starting building a nest over the last week ? and storing food there ? any advice would be grateful !

hello no its not a tubed cage at all ! its quite big and deep with three levels

Is she a syrian?
If so, at 20 days she would not be pregnant as genestation is about 16 days.

If shes a dwarf you could expect babies in the next day or two
