Hello Im Cerys
Hey i am Cerys, 16 nearly, i am learning to breed hamsters, got one litter.
my hamsters are Mckenzie long haird black baned male 5 moths and 5 weeks old
mercedes short haird baige banded i think ad 3 month old female
Mckenzie and Mercedes had babies only one survided 12 days old black bended dont know wether girl or boy

Welcome to the forum. Just one word of advise, learning to breed hamsters should come way before you have the first litter - hopefully you will be able to search through the wealth of information available on the forum about breeding, hope it helps you.

Yeah you should Buy Hamster lopaedia it tells you about it btw yare you hamsters pet shop ones? ifso you do know that its not best too breed them us you dont know there background etc.

Welcome - do have a look around especially at our breeding thread and on the wiki too - there is lots of information that I think you will find useful. Hamsterlopeadia is also really good - like a hammy bible!

I doubt that mercedies is beige, beige is a very rare colour. She is more likely a mink or dove.... If you have picture it may help Identifying her colour

I bought Hamster lopaedia earlier this year after 20 some years of keeping and breeding hamsters and there are still things in there that I didn't know and wish I had. Good book!
