Default Hi, i'm new to HC

Hi everyone!

I am new here so thought i'd leave a post to introduce myself to everyone.

Being farely new to being a hamster owner i dont have much experience so by joining was hoping to get some help and advice along with chatting to some of you.

I recently bought 2 chinese hamsters, called Sweet and Sour. When i say recently i mean about 6weeks ago :P I wont go into too much detail as i noticed there was a section for chinese hamsters so i will put all of my experiences there Lets just say i've had my fair share of them and would REALLY like some help!

Well, going to go now and check out the forum

Bye,
Jayne :P

Aw thanks Snuggleham!

I've tried several other forums before but not alot of people know about chinese hamsters and as this one has a section just for them i thought i'd give it a go

You may have already read, or tried to read, my post on my hammies, i apologise for it being sooo long. I can talk for hours

I will get my profile done right now, if i dont i will forget about it

Thanks again!

oh, before i forget (my memory is like a sieve!) how do you post pictures on this? so i can show off my wee babies to everyone

Hi jayne! *Waves*!! I`m near Stirling, so it`s nice to see another Scottish member!

I`ve recently rehomed a Winter White hamster from Littlecritterz rescue in Perthshire, two glorious little Roborovski boys from babyboos hamstery and rescue and sadly, an elderly Winter White female who has recently passed away.

I`m new to hamsters aswell, so your not alone! I also have four male mice and four male gerbils, all are rescues. I love Roborovski hamsters because they are so lovely and absolutely great fun to watch, even though they are scatty wee things!

WELCOME to the forum!

Hi Jayne I am from Scotland too. I will check out your chinese question in a moment as I have had quite a few over the years, though have now decided to concentrate on Syrians, Winter Whites and to a lesser extent Campbells only... Once my last pair of female Roborovski find a new home...
Of course if any Chinese or Roborovski ever need rescuing they will definitely come here but no more breeding or showing these species for me for now.

Hi Jayne and welcome!

To post pictures, you need to have a host site that you can upload them to. I use www.photobucket.com . If you register on this you will be able to upload pictures of your choice. Once your picture is uploaded you will see an URL for it underneath it.Copy this to the clipboard, then go onto Hamstercentral and into the post where you want to paste it. Then type . Your picture should appear when you submit the post! Hope this helps!
