Hi...I'm basically new to this sort of thing. Hamsters that is. My daughter who is thirteen years old has been bugging me for quite a while now telling me that she wanted to breed hamsters...why? Well that was the question and I told her that if she was serious about pursuing such an endeavor, that she would have to actually show me that she was going to do the research and find out everything there is to know about hamsters as well as breeding them. So far, she has inundated me with information to show me that she is serious.

Anyway, I thought that I should also take an interest in her desire and love of these very cute rodents. I thought that by joining Hamster Central that my daughter and I could learn a lot more a lot faster than just by reading books.

Anyway, we live in Southern California and wanted to connect with similar minded folks who love hamsters.

It was hard enough trying to figure out how just to post at all let alone trying to figure out how to post my own thread. How do I do it? This posting threads thing is something I have not done before and is actually very confusing to me. But thank you for the help...it is greatly appreciated. For instance...what's a "trackback"?
