So as some of you may remember, after my Syrian boy Grogu died late last year, I applied to adopt a hamster from the same rescue as he was from. I picked up my new little girl on Tuesday!
She's probably a hybrid, was born in March at the rescue itself, and was the smallest of the litter. No one adopted her so I said I'd have her since she'd been there the longest.
She's so far been a delight, though I've been just watching her rather than interacting - curious, excitable and interested in exploring her enclosure, but oh my gosh she's so fast! I've never had a dwarf species before and her tiny size and her speed are nerve wracking
Anyway, enough of the preamble - here is the little lady herself.
