Re: Went in for locusts...
Well Bonnie seems to have had a good night. She's buried herself in the woodshavings at the moment, but I did see her in her food bowl late last night.
Just a quick question, but what size wood wheel would be good for her?
I want to order her one tonight as couldn't find one in Pets at Home yesterday.

Re: Went in for locusts...
If you're getting the Trixie wheel you want the 21cm one.

Re: Went in for locusts... Meet Bonnie!
Hey Souffle - thanks for that about Bonnie's colouration - also thanks for transferring thread into the right area for me as well.
Going to make this Bonnie's official thread
Haven't seen much of her today, although the woodshavings moved when I popped in a few treats - sunflower hearts - and was quietly talking to her at the same time.
Ordering new wheel for her in the morning - plus a new bigger wheel for when I get my Syrian (hopefully in February). Couldn't order it today as managed to end up in A&E all day - I am OK now though - just got to rest.

Re: Went in for locusts... Meet Bonnie!
Thanks Coco 61.
Wheel ordered this morning. Also ordered the bigger one for new Syrian as Zooplus minimum order is £15.
Apart from seeing the woodshavings moving round yesterday, I've not seen Bonnie much. I did pop in a couple of peas on her shelf though last night and they've definitely gone lol.
Just taking things very slowly with her.

Re: Went in for locusts... Meet Bonnie!
I'm sure they'll both love their wheels when they arrive! Are you planning on painting them? It's worth giving them a couple of coats of Plastikote water based enamel in case they pee in them.
Aww sounds as though Bonnie is making herself at home, the peas were obviously much appreciated.
I'm sure her confidence will begin to grow soon & you'll be seeing more of her.
Hope you're feeling better after yesterday.
