Re: Meet Willow
Aww! That video is superb, Willow's so fast and very addictive to watch. So glad she enjoyed her playpen.
Another Aww at her stealing your heart, that's so adorable!

Re: Meet Willow
Willow is a bit skittish at the moment. Spending a lot of time hidden away. I was pleased to see her out for a quick snack earlier.
She has 4 nests and moves between them often.
Nest one is under the bendy bridge with shredded paper. The paper isn't really liked, but she digs in to the substrate.
Nest two is on the right hand side of her tank. Just a deep hole dug in the substrate.
Nest three is in a cardboard tube. Sometimes she has substrate in there other times she just uses the tube.
Nest four is in her terracotta flower pot. She liked it in her playpen and as it has been really hot, I put it in her cage as I thought it would be cooler for her. It was soon used. All paper dug out and substrate dug/pulled in.

Re: Meet Willow
Aw! love the photo of her little burrow hole
I don't know if it's a bit of a girl thing (maybe boys are too lazy to bother!) but my only female Russian always had multiple nests too.

Re: Meet Willow
I was impressed with her burrow.
When Willow does the pancake thing. What should I do?
Is it a good idea to talk to her, offer her a treat, back away.

Re: Meet Willow
CMB, I am so happy that Willow's taming is going so well. She is such a sweetie and I hope you have years of happy memories with her, too. Eros says "Hi!".
