Re: Rubix and Amiga!
Nice haul
The burgess mix & science selective are fine, just had a look for the tesco one & with apple, grape & carob it may be a bit too high in sugars for hybrids.

Yeah I wasn't gonna use the tesco one for my hybrids except maybe some bits to coax them towards my hands. I love the burgess mix I had it for my dwarf in the past and my robo and it just looks so good for them. XD

A tiny bit of fruit every week to every other week won't hurt as a treat as long as it is fed in moderation There are probably other bits in there that are better suited as regular treats though, but the fruit is still able to be used as long as it is fed in moderation and very rarely.

I've not nearly as good with dwarves as I am with syrians though I have been researching more. Feeding fruit and veg to hams is one of my favourite things though the only thing my robo would take from my hand was mealworms. :P He loved them so much.

Mealworms are a much healthier thing to feed anyways Of course, any food has to be fed in moderation.I think it just depends on personal preference. With robos though, fruit isn't exactly bad to feed since they are not prone to diabetes.Same with Syrians!Hybrids and other species can be a bit difficult to figure out though, but in general a very tiny amount of fruit every week to other week isn't that bad and it is nowhere near having fruit be in the diet every day or feeding sugary things all the time.

Re: Rubix and Amiga!
All my hybrids have been mad about their veg & there's such a variety you can feed them you won't go short on treats to feed them
A do give a blueberry (or more usually half) maybe once a week at most but I wouldn't give more than that or use mixes that have fruit in, fine for syrians though.
Mealworms do make a healthy treat in moderation & a good protein boost, maybe one or two a day, you can pick them out of the mix along with any other tasty bits for hand feeding too.

Re: Rubix and Amiga!
Oh Hi there my name is Rubix! I'm two years old and today the strangest thing happened! Some new pink lady took me home. She had much longer hair than the pink lady who was taking good care of me. We went on a drive back to hers and now this is apparently where I live! With my sister Amiga of course! She's all asleep the lazy bones but I wanted to see what my new surroundings looked like!
That is me peering REALLY HARD.

Re: Rubix and Amiga!
Hello Rubix
She's lovely, I'm sure sleepy Amiga is too!
Looks like a long way down for such a tiny girl, if they're two maybe not so agile so I'd be extra careful they can't fall.

Rubix-I've had a drink and gotten up a couple of times but Amiga is still sleeping! I don't know why she isn't curious!
They're the cages they came with from the centre. They're gonna go in bigger better (Also a bit safer) ones next week when my boyfriend brings the cages up. :P But its not too far down and there is a lot of carefresh on the floor of the cage.
I am really looking forward to them being a bit more settled in so we can play.
