Re: Hello Poe!
I think this is a sign that he was the one who actually ate the underwear. He seems innocent enough, but dun dun dun! He swings out of his cage in his spare time to nibble on your boyfriend's clothes.

There is a mystery hole in a pair of underwear on a rack in the ham room, just off the top of your head who do you think might have been responsible? Who had opportunity and motive? The motive being "because I can lol"
Can't believe she has you fooled with the innocent performance Jen! I'll have to commend her on her acting skills!
As for little man bf tried to tempt him out last night with one of those alfalfa log things none of them ever eat not gonna happen! No sign of him wanting to come out for anything, maybe he keeps weird hours because it was so noisy all day in p@h because I hear him up and about more often during the day than at night.

It's a dwarf thing
They are generally more busy during the day than syrians ever seem to be & I've even had times when mine will be more than happy to interact during the day then come evening or night will wait for me to go to bed so they can sneak out & have a good run without human interference!

Re: Hello Poe!
I've spent this morning googling around about deafness in hams.
Evidence:
Incredibly chill about horrible noisy vacuum, first sign
Doesn't react to noises in his cage or even poke a nose out to investigate when I move things or refill his food. I was noisy on purpose last night when I was changing his water and adding a mug and an eggbox to his cage and I could see where his nest was and there wasn't even a twitch
He was awake there now having a drink and I came in and clicked my fingers loudly a few times and said hello quite loudly to see if he would react, nothing
He turned around and said hello when I waved my hand in front of him though so I don't think he was ignoring me on purpose
Follows my hand if I move it in front of him (to bite it ) but if I ruffle bedding out of his sight or click my fingers just behind him he doesn't turn around or react
What else can I do to possibly confirm he isn't just ignoring me and in fact can't hear me? My sister said I'm being paranoid and that all white animals being deaf is a myth and if I watch back that video he seems to be listening to something and I have seen him meerkatting so I think I need some more opinions and evidence

Re: Hello Poe!
I am no good to you on this one Shannon but I am posting to suggest you start a new thread to attract the experts attention. You could just paste your last post there.

Re: Hello Poe!
Yeah I guess I should. It's just a little niggle of a feeling, I have this thing in my head that if I'm posting a WHOLE NEW THREAD it has to be important or something. Weird brain.
Thanks Coco

Re: Hello Poe!
Oh gosh XD If that's how most people reason, I've broken an unspoken rule many times. I post new threads all of the time. *eye twitches at housing section*.
It seems that you have strong evidence, so I would say it's a possibility. I'm not really sure though.
