I think the toilet roll treat toys last mine & keep them busier than anything I ever bought!

Neptune's fav is also the toilet roll toy where you hide treats in...he works it out in seconds but has sheer excitment all over his face!

Mine are just the same as Neptune with those toilet roll toys, I love to see them so excited over something so simple to make!

Flynt is such a lovely boy! Although he is very handsome and grown up now that little video of him poking his nose out as a baby was possibly the cutest thing I've ever seen! <3

Though Cc is straight through them now too, she has it sussed. Egg boxes last her a bit longer if you put a little bit of something in every one of the little hollows and stuff it full of substrate! Luckily the lid is still a mystery to her so she chews up the whole thing almost

Thanks Shannon, I do love that video every time I look at it I remember how it felt to see my terrified little guy getting brave for the first time!

I haven't actually tried Flynt with an eggbox yet, there's never been enough room in his cage but the others all love them so I'll probably give him a go once his new cage is set up.

I'm a bit late to this but Flynt is a really chuncky healthy looking hamster isn't he! I love that soft colour in hybrids and the video of him poking his nose out is so cute!!

Thanks Leila, he's certainly chunky but quite as much as he once was!
I love his colour too & I can never get over just how soft his coat is, not that any of them are scruffs lol but I could stroke him all day!

Oh has he gone past the middle aged paunch (to more of an old man squidge?)?? Haha he does look like a soft little guy (all the better for a cuddle!) I had a sneaky read of your Mickle thread today too Cypher, both of your Russians are really beautiful colours!
