Flynt decided to be double trouble this week!
I had planned on taking him to the vet Friday as he was just beginning to show signs of not eating quite so well but then he went & got a nice wad of food stuck in his pouch silly boy.
He's never been one to pouch much so I was a bit surprised to see one pouch looking rather full on Monday night & still the same Tuesday morning, I did try massaging it out but couldn't manage it, I probably wasn't being firm enough, or confident enough, I was a bit worried about hurting him but he just totally chilled out, looked like he was going to nod off & was very reluctant to go back into his cage!
Even after having his teeth clipped, pouch emptied & a general check over he was still so full of beans he had the vet laughing at him
I don't think he knows he's an old man
he certainly doesn't act like one!
I do wish I could get him to put on more weight, he's only about half the size he used to be but other than that he's doing really well, hopefully no more problems until after the silly season is over now though, fingers crossed!
