Cool have no fear! Toothless is here!

So toothless climbed into my hand today, with the help of some of his food. He nibbled at me but I don't mind much. Also he has peed in his wheel.... Idk if I should take it out and clean it because it would mess up his beautiful tunnels. :/ I am going to test him asap.... But I need my dad to help with it.

Leave the pee for now. He'll only do it again. Pee and wheels just go together in the the hammy world. It's a marking behavior. It can actually be worse if you keep cleaning it every day. I have 3 Silent Spinners for Almond. I switch his wheel every 3-4 days. This way it's a fast change and not too often. It's disgusting to us, but not to them. That's the sweet smell of home.

Yeah....idk if the biting was fearful or what. It was weird, but as long as he doesn't break the skin I can tolerate it. I would twitch my fingers a bit to let him know I'm a living thing too, not a carrot. Sometimes he hung on almost? Idk. Like I figure if he wanted to he could bite harder? Maybe he's just unsure of me. :P

If they don't break the skin it's not a real bite imo. Those teeth are so sharp, if they want to bite they're going to really bite! It's probably just nibbles, maybe try a hand wash that smells nothing like food. I sometimes find that if I use the honey hand wash I'm more likely to get a nibble than if I use the normal anti-bacterial stuff?

ill have to do that. Get some normal soap. I figured it wasn't the best he could do. I'm not invincible to animal nips but I find that I have a higher tolerance than some (mainly younger kids and nervous people) when I was younger I had hermit crabs, and they did what scared crabs do. Snap! It hurt but I feel bad because I used to try to drop em' and they'd hang on for dear life. Now I know better lol. I wasn't the gentlest kid, nor was I the most patient. But I did like animals and bugs. I still love animals. I'm still not patient (ik, I'm puzzling over how I'm gonna tame him too) but I love animals enough that I make myself wait....albeit after a couple mistakes and early attempts...(I feel bad bugged toothless the first few days.) anyway...yeah.
