On Friday I finally got to go to P@H again, it's been about three & a half months since I last went to look at hams & brought Zephyr home!
They had two totally adorable robos up for adoption & I have been wanting one but was a bit worried that I might not be able to handle one, even if just for health checks, getting up close I had a sensible moment & decided maybe they're not for me
Sadly they didn't have any hybrids up for adoption this time & I felt a bit bad as I'd rather adopt or rescue but I could not help myself & had to have a look see what they had for sale…. a lovely little heap of four hybrids sleeping in a pile!
I put my hand in the cage & while getting quite seriously bitten by one was getting just as seriously smitten by another! I had her out to hold & she was so sweet & calm, very curious but not afraid at all.
I think it was love at first sight so now she's home with me
She's settling in so well, eating food from my hand on her first morning here, exploring everywhere in her tank & running in her wheel. She keeps having a go at her flying saucer but hasn't quite got the hang of it yet, she keeps sliding about all over but won't give up bless her!
She's just so sweet & such a beautiful colour, makes think of chocolate & cappuccino.
She makes little noises in her sleep too, just like Ziggy & Teek used to do, hadn't realised how much I was missing that!
Not sure where the name came from, it just popped into my head & stuck but I think it kind of suits her.
She's being a bit shy this morning but hopefully I'll get some more photos soon but for now
Meet Mickle

She looks so tiny!
I think she likes her broccoli
She found some millet & is ignoring me!
Looking cute with her first cucumber
