Little Mickle has been keeping me on my toes, a couple of night ago she discovered the joys of bar climbing so I was watching her like a hawk, half heart in mouth & half laughing at her silly antics, double checking she wasn't going to have a hard landing anywhere, then she invented a new game when she climbed the bars to get on top of her water bottle holder & sat there looking all helpless until I put my hand in to help her down, she obviously thought that was fun as she went straight back to do it again & again & again!

I was too busy watching to get any photos but I love watching hams holding things in their little hands so I thought I'd share this bit of cuteness, munching on a piece of kitten kibble

Oh she's a climber... Spartacus doesn't seem to be interested (or able ) to do that yet. She's adorable

Maybe Spartacus has more sense, they're really not very good at it!
All of my hybrids have been able to climb up ok but they don't know how to get down so they just let go

I also love watching them hold their food like that. Ickle Mickle is just adorable.

Hehehe I agree with you there! It used to make me giggle when my hams would climb up the bars then just hang because they had no where else to go so they'd have to just drop now that they're in a bin cage they don't get to climb up and throw themselves off the top of their cage .
Mickle is absolutely gorgeous though, I don't blame you for getting her!! I also love the hanging basket!

Ickle Mickle has been worrying me a bit this last week, I'm pretty sure she's just been adjusting to her new cage though. After moving her from a tank to a cage she seemed really excited & enjoyed exploring for a couple of days then her behaviour was really off for a bit, she was acting scared & stressed, didn't want to be around me & didn't put on any weight for a week which isn't right at her age but *huge sigh of relief* she's back to her happy self & has come on in leaps & bounds these last two days & she gained 4g this week, not a huge amount but enough I think, she's certainly stuffing her little face again!

So a few photos to celebrate the return of my little one to a happy healthy ham

Mickle after her triumph over a treat toy

She loves to climb out of her cage into my hand for a nibble

And enjoying some millet, I think it's her favourite food right now.

I took a couple of vids of her tackling her treat toy you can see here
