Wilfred!
This is (now not so) little Wilfred! He was in the adoption centre in a P@H in Bristol - I only popped in to have a look before I went into Ikea! There were no details up, so I asked if he was male or female - they had him listed as male, but the sales assistant had a look and thought he was female - as did 2 others, and me - especially comparing his bits to another male.
He was so adorable though, and was so happy being handled, I didn't care (even though I'd have rather had a boy) and luckily I had a carrier in the car, so he came home with me. After a week with no name, and then a week as Coco (after his favourite treat) I discovered "she" was definitely a boy - now there's no question about it!
He's the most affectionate and happy dwarf I've ever had, he comes out and chatters away to me, and climbs up onto my shoulder and nudges me with his nose!
I know he's a hybrid, coming from where he did, but I've been wondering - he looks very much like a pearl winter white, is it possible he's got more genes from that 'side' (if that makes sense?)
(Sorry for the sideways photos, they're the right way on my computer!)

Re: Wilfred!
Wilfred is so cute! The first picture is adorable!
I don't think Wilfred is a albino though (From the top post) But, he could defiantly be a pearl, but I never owned a dwarf so ^^

Re: Wilfred!
Aww what a totally sweet little man-ham he is
I'm not familiar with dwarf colours, but I'd agree with the pp who said pearl.
He's lovely and so glad you finally figured out whether he's a he or a she
Honestly though, being from the adoption centre in p@h doesn't necessarily mean he's a hybrid... Other pets can end up in the centre. Just any unwanted pet. May be a winter white that was unwanted.
I have heard of Robo's being in the p@h adoption centre, p@h no longer stock Robo's as far as I know.
You may have a winter white, but most will tell you that unless you have papers stating that, he's a hybrid.
Dwarfs are so cute... Any dwarf, hybrids, Robo's, ww or Campbell's. I could hamnap them all!

Re: Wilfred!
He's very cute, and if you think he looks like a WW he's probably a fairly WW looking hybrid - they can happen

Re: Wilfred!
Thank you He's very adorable, and very well-behaved too! He's taken to sleeping out in the open lately, in his wheel, in a mug, in any random spot he seems to like.... It's quite amusing!

Re: Wilfred!
What a lovely little hamster! He looks exactly like my little hybrid dwarf, Miso! I had a similar situation at Pets at Home, they said Miso was a girl when in actual fact him and his "sister" Pocky are both boys
