Day 3.
So this morning I woke up and I looked over at my nightstand where I keep Banjo's cage. I was surprised to find her curled up right by my face in the cozy corner behind her digging box
(sorry, its hard to get a good picture of her from far away)
So cooed and awwed and then I went downstairs for breakfast. When I came back up she was in the same corner, having a snack. Like she wanted to celebrate breakfast time with me (hehe).
Yesterday she was still very skittish, running into her peanut whenever I made any little noise in my room. I left her to her own and tried to stay out of my room so she would have privacy - save for the mild cleaning I had to do after discovering a leaky water bottle problem (fixed now)
I went up to turn in for the night and was practicing my ukelele a little and suddenly she started to wander out. She stayed out the whole time until I went to bed, even when I went to her cage and said hi to her.
So this morning when I saw her munching there right next to me, I thought I would say hi. I took a little pinch of waffle in my fingers and waited at the top of the digging box. Not even 2 minutes later she started sniff-sniffing around and dug her way up to the waffle. She looked up at me for a second and then reached up and started nibbling on the waffle bit!
I can't believe she is already so brave <3 I think I will try a sunflower seed later when she is up again. What a sweet little girl XP
