Little Sofia, my invisible ham, passed away this week. It as totally unexpected as she was only a year old and didn't seem to be unwell. I'm just glad I as able to give her a happy life, as short as it was. I know that she would still be at the RSPCA if I hadn't rescued her as the other hamster she came with is still there.

I'll write her memorial soon.

Really sorry Sofia has gone but she was very lucky to live with you for the time she did

I am so sorry this little one is gone. I thought Sophia was so cute, hiding and only showing her little nose. I loved her cage climbing ability, although she scared me when she fell off the cage sides. You gave her a place to be herself and enjoyed those times when she came out to see you. I love the rescues here on HC and it is so wonderful that hammies who would have had no one find their forever homes...however long forever is. I wish Sophia's forever had been longer.
